About Just in Case Oregon
Naloxone is a fast, effective way to reverse an overdose. But, it only works if it’s already nearby when an overdose happens, the same way a fire extinguisher only helps if someone has it when they see a fire. Even though having naloxone is so important, it isn’t always easy to get: Distance, pharmacy stock, cost, and privacy concerns keep it out of reach for a lot of Oregonians, especially in rural areas.
Just in Case Oregon is a partnership between the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and community partners across the state that mails free naloxone directly to you, so you already have it before you need it. No trip, no explanation, no barrier.
